On-Site Training

On-Site Intensive Feeding & Swallowing Training

Six days of immersive clinical training and mentorship — included in your investment. The program begins Sunday with a 5–6 hour pre-intensive education day, followed by five days of live NJPFA Intensive training Monday through Friday with a real patient present. This is not a simulation — training happens in real time, alongside real clinical care.

Nancy Calamusa, MA, CCC-SLP, is a dedicated speech-language pathologist with close to four decades of experience in neonatal-pediatric care. Specializing in the assessment and treatment of feeding and swallowing disorders in neurologically impaired children, she is passionate about improving outcomes and helping to heal the whole child.

Nancy earned her bachelor's degree in Speech Science from Rutgers University and her master's degree in Speech Pathology from Kean University. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA and multiple advanced-level certifications for treatment of the pediatric patient. She has owned and operated New Jersey Pediatric Feeding Associates since its inception in 2005.

Nancy recently pioneered the first global traveling intensive feeding and swallowing program specializing in children with pediatric brain injuries. She is licensed in 10 states and registered to practice in 3 countries. She developed the first intensive dysphagia program focusing on the role of neuroplasticity in feeding and swallowing — promoting safe oral eating while training parents, caregivers, and clinicians worldwide.
